 Convert Panasonic HDC-TM700 MTS to FCP X for blu-ray burning

Panasonic HDC-TM700 video camera shoots in 1080 60p, 60i and 24p, in the AVCHD codec which is a very good usable camera for the price and with its 35mm lens and 3 cmos chips, that it produced good quality 1920x1080 images, even in low light. Some HDC-TM700 users would like to burn HDC-TM700 1080/50p AVCHD to Blu-ray with FCP X to keep your every moment you record forever or playing on Blu-ray player.

While, some HDC-TM700 users have found that when they burn Panasonic HDC-TM700 1080/50p AVCHD to Blu-ray with FCP X for playing on Blu-ray player always encounter some troubles. There are two main reasons. The first reason is the FCP X indeed cannot ingest 1080/50p files directly. The second reason is that the Blu-Ray standard only supports 1920x1080 progressive at 24p or 23.976p and 50p is supported for 1280x720 or 720x576. Thus, we can conclude when you intend to burn HDC-TM700 1080/50p AVCHD to Blu-ray, you need to convert the HDC-TM700 1080/50p MTS Video to 1920x1080 in 24P. Following is the detailed guide including two parts.

Part 1: Convert HDC-TM700 1080/50p MTS Video to FCP X.
Step 1: mport HDC-TM700 1080/50p MTS Video to the best Panasonic TM700 1080/60P MTS Video Converter.
Use USB cable to connect HDC-TM700 to Mac. Free download Brorsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac and launch it as the best Panasonic TM700 1080/60P MTS Video Converter. . And then click the button for adding to import Panasonic HDC-TM700 MTS to the program.

Click the “Settings” icon and you will go into a new interface named “Profile Settings”. You can adjust codec, bit rate, frame rate, sample rate and audio channel in the interface according to your needs and optimize the output file quality before converting Panasonic TM700 1080/50p video to Apple ProRes MOV.
Note: You’d better set the video frame rate as 24fps, video size as 1920*1080 to keep the best quality that compatible for burning Blu-ray with FCP X.

Step 4: Start converting/transcoding your Panasonic HDC-TM700 MTS to FCP X.
Click the “Convert” button; it will convert/transcode HDC-TM700 AVCHD MTS to FCP X on Mac immediately. You can find the process in the “Conversion” interface.
